How do you photograph Maternity sessions?
Motherhood is such a raw stage in most women's journeys. At times we tend to lose ourselves as we become "more". My goal is to help you reclaim and honor the old you all the while celebrating this new version that is under construction. I make sure to have your cravings or filling snacks and beverages and to avoid smells that may make you feel sick. We take breaks. As many as you need. Some mommas like glam and drama. Others prefer whimsy and sweetness. I make sure to take note of what you are looking for so I may curate an experience that will be unforgettable and cherished for years to come.
Where are you based and do you travel?
My studio is based in Glencoe, MN. I do travel. If the session takes place over 30 minutes and within an hour I do charge an on-location fee. If the session is in a different state or country then lodging and travel fees will be added.
When will we get our photos?
After your session we schedule a zoom or an in person reveal appointment. During this time all financial decision makers must be present. I will have the best images from the session lightly retouched for your viewing. There will be one or two that will be fully retouched so you may see what the final will look like. Once all the favorites are chosen you will then decide the digital package that you would like or physical product. Albums are always a hit or a storybox with a select number of images. After your digital package or product is purchased and paid off completely then your gallery will be released. If product is purchased it can be 2-6 weeks depending on what it is. When you purchase physical product you also get the digital copies from them.
How many pictures will we receive?
That all depends on what you order. Full galleries are 20-40 images which can comfortably fit in an album or a folio story box. The digital copies are delivered through an online gallery.
